Gnu Garage installation process

Every Gnu Garage is prepared and installed by our flooring experts. We've developed a detailed installation process to ensure your new garage floor lasts for a lifetime.
Our installation process includes the following:

• Surface grind the entire space using a 1500-pound baby mammoth grinder using 16-grit diamonds.
• Edge grind the entire perimeter using a 16-grit diamond hand grinder. All equipment used is attached to dust, mitigation and dust control equipment to ensure concrete dust doesn't inhabit your home.
• After surface grinding is completed, we retest surface moisture levels to determine if a vapor barrier layer is required to ensure a lifelong bond between the concrete and the first layer of the floor.
• The floor is then primed, using the highest quality resin available, followed by an intermediate layer, which is flipped into at 100% flake coverage.
• After the two layers have bonded and cured, the top layer is scraped smooth so that a beautiful orange peel finish is revealed upon application of the polyaspartic topcoat layer. The orange peel texture yields an excellent nonslip surface.
